Some thoughts on selected images

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

I don’t often engage in lengthy discussions about my photos, believing that an image either speaks for itself, or fails to. Nevertheless, I’ve decided to indulge occasionally with some comments on a few selected images – I can rationalize this as an attempt at self-critique and hope the comments don’t become too self-aggrandizing.

The comments will be posted along with fresh edits of the images at
http://info.quaevide.com/moments/index.html

(The title refers to a comment about Seurat by Pierre Courthion that I feel is particularly relevant to photography: To extract the eternal moment from the passing flux.)

The first one is: Madonna-esque.
